On June 19, "Dirty Coin" made its much-anticipated premiere in Puerto Rico, drawing a diverse and influential crowd from the film industry, crypto community, and energy sector. The excitement was palpable as attendees gathered to watch the documentary that explores bitcoin mining as a free market solution to global energy problems.
The premiere was a resounding success, with many notable figures in attendance. The film, which was filmed across four continents but produced out of Puerto Rico, captivated the audience, sparking interest and discussion from the start. Following the screening, we hosted a panel and Q&A featuring the film's editor, composer, and director.
The mix of professionals from different industries made for dynamic and enriching conversations, highlighting the interdisciplinary relevance of the film's message.
